- We believe that there is only one true almighty God, existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-eternal and co-equal from all eternity, each with distinct personalities but of one essence.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. We believe in the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, atoning blood, bodily resurrection, and imminent premillenial coming of Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts and regenerates the sinner, sanctifies and indwells the believer, and fills them for effective service. We believe that God has made provision for each believer to be victorious by being led of the Spirit and not walking after the flesh; and that every true believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption.
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative and totally sufficient Word of God. We believe that God’s Word is truth without any mixture of error and is the sole authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:21; Psalm 33:4; Proverbs 30:5; 1 Thessalonians 2:13). The Bible teaches the principles for Godly living, and we must learn and follow these principles to both avoid and refute the false teachings of our day. Christians are commanded to follow Scriptural methods of discerning, exhorting, warning, and reproving those who violate or reject the principles of Scripture. (Psalm 119:11; Luke 4:4; Hebrews 4:12). We believe that the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people is the King James Version of the Bible.
- We believe in a literal 6 day (6 – 24 hour days) creation period in which God created the universe and mankind apart from any process of evolution, as stated in the Genesis account. God rested on the seventh day and He blessed and hallowed it.
- We believe that Adam was created in innocence and in the image of God and was not evolved from pre-existing forms of life. By voluntary transgression he fell. The whole race is now sinful by choice and therefore, under just condemnation to eternal separation from God.
- We believe that the only way to be saved from sin’s everlasting punishment and separation from God is to receive, by faith, the forgiveness of sin offered in the gift of Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Jesus Christ died, shedding His perfect blood for the forgiveness of sin. For someone to be saved from their sin they must receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour. We believe that men are justified by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ without any mixture of works.
- We believe in the church as the body of Christ and its mission to fulfill the “Great Commission” of teaching/preaching, baptizing born again believers, and discipling them. We believe that Christ instituted two ordinances for the church:
- The ordinance of water baptism upon the confession of faith in Jesus Chirst as Saviour, as an outward symbol of the work of the Holy Spirit in identifying us with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
- The ordinance of communion. The bread representing Christ’s broken body and the cup His shed blood. These are to be taken after examining one’s self in the light of God’s Word as a remembrance of His suffering and death.
- We believe the God instituted the marriage union as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others.
- In the sovereign selection of Israel as God’s eternal covenant people, that God will keep all his promises to her and that the church is not “spiritual Israel”.
- We believe in the rapture of the church; the imminent, pre-tribulation return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.
- We believe in a literal resurrection of the body; eternal salvation for all individuals that have trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour; eternal separation and punishment in Hell for all who reject His gift of salvation and will be cast into the eternal lake of fire which is the second death.
